No Shame No Silence

No Shame No Silence is an exhibition consisting of over 20 artists throughout New Zealand and the topic being our experience with domestic violence. Launched in November 2018, the exhibition was held in the award-winning Te Awahou Nieuwe Stroom, Foxton.

My take on this subject was based around the stories I have heard about domestic violence from people around me. My illustration talks about the fear of breaking away and the pressure of the issue surrounding the victim who may be too afraid to open up and talk about it.

Artwork purchases were donated to Te Awahou Nieuwe Stroom, Backbone Collective and Women's Refuge.

Personal Project

This was a project that I started as a way to explore other areas of illustration and simply having fun with the process. Each of these illustrations were created on iPad using Procreate.

World Kepler

Student Final Year Project

World Kepler is a collection of concept designs and illustrations I created for my final year assignment in my three year degree. In this project I explore another world where humans live on a planet named World Kepler which is based off the real life exoplanet Kepler-186f. World Kepler orbits around a red dwarf star which gives off a strong and rich orange tone to the environment. This project is an exploration of what our life today would be like under these environmental circumstances.
